Help Following a Motor Vehicle Accident – Part I

Although we hope that it is never your experience to be injured in a Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA), we would like to be of service if you find that this is the case. Injuries can be minor on the surface, as in no broken bones, stitches or internal injuries, yet your body and spine in particular, feels the impact just like a shock absorber. You may not feel the entire extent of your injuries for 24-72 hours afterwards or longer, so feeling worse over the next two days or so is normal. No matter how small the impact or damage done to the vehicle, it is always good to make sure your spine has not been thrown out of alignment that could cause further damage down the line.

If your injuries are not serious, we would suggest that you come in for an exam as soon as possible after the MVA. The doctor will perform an exam to assess the injury, and begin a treatment plan. The sooner you can begin, the sooner you can be on the road to recovery. Our skilled doctors are quite experienced in these type of injuries and will work toward bringing you back to your pre-accident status.

You deserve to feel good again, and we will work with your insurance companies to get you the best possible care following your accident.
